From 2022 onwards MIAR will not show the ICDS calculation. Instead we will only show the profile of the journals' presence in the sources analysed by MIAR: under the label 'Diffusion' the number of presences will be indicated according to the four categories of sources used. With this change, we want to focus on our core objective: to gather useful information for those who have to evaluate journals, but without being a source for ranking journals according to a single metric. ICDS values from previous years will be available in the archived versions of MIAR.

La Revista iZQUIERDAS es una publicación científico-académica cuatrimetral editada por el Instituto de Estudios Avanzados de la Universidad de Santiago de Chile, USACH.
Su propósito principal es difundir la producción historiográfica sobre los hechos e ideas del conjunto de las manifestaciones sociales, políticas, intelectuales y estéticas de las agrupaciones, organizaciones y personas relacionadas con el pasado y presente de lo que social y tradicionalmente ha sido o son reconocidas como constitutivas de las izquierdas y el socialismo latinoamericanos, en una perspectiva de diálogo con realidades similares de otras regiones del mundo. Su púbico objetivo es la comunidad de especialistas e historiadores/as vinculados/as o relacionadas/as con la temática de la historia del socialismo latinoamericano. No obstante ello, busca satisfacer consultas e interrogantes de un público amplio no necesariamente adscrito a la academia. Más en www.izquierdas.cl
